Things to Do in Ballast Point

The park is right on the shore line and offers a 600 foot pier over the water, a splash pad play area, a playground, picnic areas, gazebo, boat dock, boat ramp, and the best place to catch a sunrise or sunset over the bay or to just sit and enjoy the Tampa skyline. Taste of Boston Restaurant is located here as well.
Is the place to get fresh seafood just steps from your front door in Ballast Point. The chef Nick Cruz grew up learning to fish from his grandpa right on the Ballast Point Park pier.
A Ballast Point fixture since 1904, this club offers members boating, recreation, dining, swimming, tennis, equestrian venues, and social events. There are three clubhouses and countless opportunities to get to know other people in the area.
Offers all the local fresh eats of a farmers market. There are several local artisans selling items like fresh fruit, homemade pies, artisan salsas, and freshly made meals. It is a well-loved market on Bayshore Boulevard just outside the northern boundary of Ballast Point.
Bayshore Boulevard is located in the neighborhood right next to Ballast point and offers a 4.5 mile sidewalk along the shores of the bay. It is a popular place to bike, walk, and run or access the Bayshore Greenway Trail.
Bridge to St. Pete
Though the water of the bay is within walking distance of most homes in Ballast Point, should you decide to visit an ocean beach you can hop on W. Gandy Boulevard at the north boundary of the neighborhood and take the bridge over to the gulf coast beaches in St. Pete.
