Broadwater is residential neighborhood in southern St. Petersburg located on the waters of Boca Ciega Bay. Broadwater is a great neighborhood for boaters and water lovers and is one of the most picturesque places to live in the St. Petersburg area. It is a quiet picturesque waterfront gem. 

Community Amenities

-Quiet tree-lined streets with sidewalks

Fort DeSoto Park

A large park that takes up five interconnected islands at the south end of Pinellas County. The park features a historic fort, white sandy beaches, boat launch, floating docks, camping area, picnic shelters, playgrounds, trails, swim centers, fishing piers, ferry service to Egmont and Shell Key, concession stand with souvenirs, and a dog park. 

St. Pete Beach

St. Pete Beach is one of Florida's most iconic beach towns offering what many Floridians call the best beaches in Florida. Any water activity you want to take part in can be done from the beaches in St. Pete Beach. Tradewinds Island Grand Resort is located on St. Pete Beach where you can enjoy waterslides and other family fun like mini-golf. The amazing town of St. Pete Beach can easily be accessed via the bridge just south of the neighborhood. 

Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club

The amazing center of activities in located next tot the neighborhood between St. Petersburg and St. Pete Beach. This member only club offers an 18-hole golf course, nine clay tennis courts, dining facilities, private fitness center, and pool overlooking the bay, a marina, and several planned social events. 

Homes in Broadwater

The neighborhood of Broadwater began construction in the 1950's. Homes built in the 50's have nice open floor plans and great water view lots, homes in the neighborhood built in the 70's offer ranch style homes, homes from the 80's offer larger square footage and vaulted ceilings. In the 1990's famous home designer Arthur Rutenburg built homes in Broadwater on the remaining vacant lots. Some homes feature space on deep canals that allow for very large boats to be kept just steps from your door. There are a couple of condo buildings on the east side of the neighborhood as well. There are several beautiful home styles to suit a large number of buyers. Home prices in the Broadwater neighborhood start in the $200,000s and go into the millions. 

Schools 

The public schools serving the young residents living in Broadwater are part of the Pinellas County Public School District. Specific schools zoned for the neighborhood include Gulfport Elementary School, Bay Point Middle School, and Lakewood High School.
