More on St. Pete Beach
Welcome to beautiful St. Pete beach Florida. This resort city is set on the barrier island west of the city of St. Petersburg and known for its luscious white sandy beaches. This coastal city in Pinellas County is a tourist destination formed from the towns Pass-a-Grille, Belle Vista, St. Petersburg Beach, and unincorporated parts of Pinellas County. It was incorporated in 1957 originally with the name St. Petersburg Beach. In 1994, locals voted to officially change the name to St. Pete Beach to distinguish it from the city of St. Petersburg just a few miles east. It's home to about 10,000 year-round residents.
"Love the area, and we're outside the major tourist section so it's very quiet. Perks of our location: Local parks, weekend farmers market, close to the water, gated community, close to grocery stores, work, gym, etc."
"St. Pete Beach is a great place to live because there are so many Sunday morning markets, live music, water sport rentals, and of course, there's the beach. There is always something to do." - Niche.com
