Treasure Island is a town located on a beautiful barrier island just off the west coast of mainland Pinellas County. It is part of the St. Petersburg-Clearwater metro area. The town of Treasure Island got its name from an early hotel owner that buried two wooden chests in the white sands of the beach and later "discovered" buried treasure. There are a few great spas in Treasure Island. Paradise Spa is probably the most highly rated. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to serve you. It is a great place to relax and treat yourself.
The definition of a laid-back beach bar. Enjoy a menu of burgers and wings and appetizers while enjoying a full bar menu. There is live music everyday as well. It is a lively local place popular with locals and visitors alike.

The pier is part of the downtown area of St. Petersburg and is a hub of waterfront activities. The pier itself extends into Tampa Bay and is described as a landmark pleasure pier. At the pier you will find plenty of beautiful outdoor spaces for walking and fishing or just playing, with sandy beach areas, restaurants, a playground.
